2023-11-07On behalf of the Korea Maritime Institute, it gives me a great pleasure to inform you that we would like to invite your institution to an inaugural conference exploring ways for cooperation in the realm of maritime logistics.
The Korea Maritime Institute is a government-funded research institution affiliated with the Office of the Prime Minister and a key think tank in the field of maritime logistics for the South Korean government.
Since our establishment in 1984, we have been actively involved in shaping policies and plans related to maritime logistics, shipping, and port development for the Korean government. We have also engaged in collaborative research and cooperation with governments and research institutions of major foreign countries.
In collaboration with New Jersey City University in the United States, the Korea Maritime Institute established the Center for Supply Chain and Maritime Logistics (CSCML) on June 1st.
To commemorate this partnership and celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and the United States, we are pleased to announce an inaugural conference aimed at exploring avenues of cooperation in the maritime logistics sector, which serves as a critical infrastructure linking the economies of both nations.
